That picture goes way back! I didn't take many photos back then, and didn't spend much time arranging them when
I did. Believe it or not, that model is covered with silk (two colors!) and painted with dope. It is a pretty generic
design, but those are the ones that usually fly the best, and this one did fly extremely well. My father and I used to
stick this model in the back of our Cessna 150 and take it out to an old, abandoned airport in Northern California where
we could fly in the wide open fields next to the runway. Great memories...
Anyway, this model goes together super fast thanks to its simple design. And yes, you can use Monokote if you insist.
