MADE IN AMERICA

These are simply the best tools for cutting stranded cable available today. The jaws are specially shaped to cut cable clean and square without a hint of fraying. Do they last? We have been using one of the large cutters here at BTE in kit production for many years. It has made thousands of cuts in steel cables and 1/16" music wire and is still going strong. We may never replace it!

Use a regular wire cutter and it will still come out lousy. What a pain! Snip a piece of music wire with regular wire cutters and you are left with a jagged end that needs grinding or filing. That's if you can find it after it sails across the room! Use one of these cutters and music wire is neatly sheared leaving a smooth, burr-free end. Every serious modeler needs one of these high-quality tools in his shop.
