Wingspan: 30"      Power: Cox TeeDee .010      Controls: Rudder Only

As you can surely tell, I used to be a big fan of Cox engines. Their littlest engine was the famous .010, a real screamer. Even though I never actually had one, it inspired me to draw up this little glider. What a little cutie this would have been! The rudder-only control system would have used an Ace actuator (remember those?). I actually did a lot of rudder-only flying with a Midwest Esquire and Lil' Esquire and liked it a lot. There's only so much you can do with rudder, so I learned to appreciate the beauty of a model airplane soaring in the breeze. You don't see that much anymore, at least at your typical R/C club field.
