For some odd reason, I think pod-and-boom style fuselages look good. This model would be a nice-smooth flyer, but limited to rolling and looping maneuvers. I would almost certainly leave the landing gear off and fly over grass. Wondering about Arrowhead I? Fuggetaboudit - what a disaster. But it was a helpful learning experience for a young designer and led to this follow-up design. The last sentence on the drawing shows that I was already thinking about Arrowhead III. |
