Bruce's comments... One of the most creative modelers that I know is right here in my local RC club.  My friend Mort really went all out on this V60.  It is a dedicated float plane - Mort never intends to use wheels on this one!  Check out that incredible cowling and the perfect fit of his side-mounted OS .61.  Mort used an oversize spinner help make the lines of the front end flow smoothly.
Notice how the chrome Monokote trim, if viewed at just the right angle, makes it appear like the fin is see-through.  Actually, what you see is a reflection.
The custom floats are sheeted with thin ply which Mort stained for a beatiful effect.  Also notice the home-made water rudders and the custom float cradle that he uses to transport the model in one piece.  Clever man!  Hope I can build as well as Mort someday...
