Kerry from Illinois writes: "I got the inspiration for my covering scheme from Randy from Colorado and Patrick from Washington. I used some Great Planes bolt-on-axle shafts since the #10 screws provided for the wheels didn't fit. I suppose that I could have drilled out the wheel instead, but I had these handy. "I also used two aileron servos. I made a pocket for them to sit in by gluing the plywood sheeting to the inside of the wing spares. I added some balsa strips to frame out the opening. "I'm using a Tower Hobbies 0.61 engine. "This is only my second plane, so I don't have much flight experience, but I'm able to handle this plane pretty well." |
